We will also explore meeting on-line one additional time per month.

Candidacy of Roberto Lewis (with Basharat Masih)

The Chapter discussed the absence of Basharat and Roberto, and the fact that we have received no written plans for supervisory training.  A letter was drafted, to be sent to them after Henry Uy has had a chance to talk to Basharat.

Re-certification

All chapter members are current on dues, and will be presented in March for re-certification.

Members are conscientious about the spirit of the covenant, which requires us to be in touch with each other on a regular basis.  Because of our geographical dispersion, it is no longer possible for every member to be present at each face-to-face meeting.  However, the chapter has adopted an expectation that every diplomate will attend a meeting at least once in each calendar year.  With two from which to choose, it should be possible; failure to meet this expectation will result in "Inactive" status.

Joe Whalen (no picture)

Joe reported by speakerphone on his current employment as a Social Worker for Hospice of the Bluegrass.  He is also attending classes with the object of obtaining a Masters in Social Work.

Malcolm continues to do counseling, although his client load is gradually decreasing.  Professionally, he mourns the fact that he has less and less use for all of the materials that he has developed and collected over the years.

He shared with the chapter his continuing grief over the loss of Marjorie.

Malcolm will be 90 years old on December 30!

Gino Donatelli (Click on thumbnail for full-size picture)gino-10-02(1).JPG (447863 bytes)

Gino's life is relatively settled.  He is active at Loyola, and has recently become a member of the CPE Professional Advisory Committee, although he is not yet supervising a program.  He likes his work on pediatrics.

At home, he has enjoyed gardening in a settled environment.
